You know they say "Design is the planning that lays the basis for the making of every object or system" and everyone thinks that they are a designer! Or that they know one! Yet few get it right....
You know, someone recently told me that "my wife is great with choosing paint colours", and I wonder two things.... first, why are they telling me this, and secondly, does she know why she's good at it!! Even selecting paint colours has a process that not everyone understands.
What are my thoughts on design?? My first one is "Enjoy"..... My second is "That design is subjective, not everyone will like it, and of course everyone WILL have an opinion on it, but if it has been created with skill and flair, the design will show in the end result!!
And talking of design... I would like to introduce you to a very stylish Hotel/Bar/Restaurant that I came across on a recent visit to Edinburgh - Le Monde Hotel.
